What is the difference between the different versions of Windows XP

What are the differences between windows XP:

pro
media
and home edition

the reason i ask is because i have to costumize a computer for my cousin. Home is the cheapest one. Is he loosing any features?

home is basice everything winxp you know and love.
pro has some connectivity/security addons.
MCE sio totalyl different and is meant ot be sued on a media center home theatre pc. different interface and capabilities like meida streaming.

go with home, pro is more geared towards networking and such, and media center is for htpc's
