What is the difference between the athlon xp and mp?

What is the difference? Does the mp have the pre-fetch instructions and use less power too? I see that they may not be locked?

The Palomino cores all support hardware preftech and SSE-compatibility, including Duron-Morgan. What is not for certain is if the XP and Duron-Morgan share the deeper registry of their MP brethren.
