What is the difference between SSDSA2MH160G2C1 and SSDSA2MH160G2R5?

Just as the title states. They are both X-25M 160GB Gen2 SSDs. The one that ends in G2R5 appears to be retail, and the one that ends in G2C1 appears to be OEM, but the R5 version can be found for well under 500 at several online retailers and the C1 is generally well over 500. That doesn't make sense as OEM is always cheaper than retail. Am I missing something?

yeah it does make sense. the C1 is in stock (quite a few) and the R5 is not. as demand increases the price gouging :) does too.

supply n demand my friend. (it wasn't this way a few weeks ago when both were in stock)

Its sort of the same here in europe. The retail boxes are harder to find than the bulk ones and thus a bit cheaper despite them coming with a 2.5" to 3.5" adaptor bracket and a nice box.
