what is the difference between hdmi and hdmimini?

Hi,
I am will be buying Nvidia GTS450 graphic card. It has HDMIMINI port and my monitor DELL SX22010 has HDMI port. will it be any problem with connecting both? and what is the actually difference between these two?

You'll need an HDMI to HDMIMINI cable or adapter.

Thanks but my concern is, will there be any signal loss if I use an HDMI to HDMIMINI cable or adapter? and the second question why a company like Nvidia is manufacturing mini hdmi connectors when the majority of monitors supports regular HDMI connectors?

None, no signal loss. Just get a converter plug/cable and you'll be fine.

no signal loss, been using it for 6 months. They could not use the HDMI name if it did not meet HDMI specs.
