What is the difference between an Athlon XP and an Athlon MP

Hello,

The MP is for Multiple Processor systems(i.e. Dual Proc. Systems). The MP supports SMP, while the XP officiallly does not.

So I have no need for an MP if I am building a new system, correct? Just stick with the XP and I should be fine?
