What is the difference between A64 3000 and Opetron 146 ?

I have been using A64 3000+ and my friends said Opetron is much faster than A64

I search from the web and I only noted their differnece is the L2 cache ?

Anyone tell me more about the 2 difference ?

Difference is the cache and quality.
Nothing more.
But I think an opteron 146 is 2.0 GHz while the 3000+ is 1.8 GHz
