What is the difference between a x800 Pro/GT/XL/XT?

I'm looking for a graphics card for the new PC I'm in the market for. Looking around, I'm quite confused as to what the Pro/GT/XL and XT affixes are. I was mostly eying the x800 Pro found refurbished on the ATI site, but met with a lot of ambiguity on the forums. I'm looking to play Battlefield 2/HL2 and hopefully most of the new up and coming games with the rig.

I'm looking to save as much money as possible so the x800 Pro seems to do the job. How well would that work with BF2? Whenever I see benchmarks testing ATI's cards, I never see the x800 Pro (example: http://graphics.tomshardware.com/graphic/20041222/vga_charts-09.html)

Please clarify these concepts for me. If you do start quoting prices, keep in mind I am Canadian. Thank-you in advance.

P.S. If anyone has actually bought the x800 Pro refurbished, does it actually come with the box and all its components? Is there any games included? Thanks :) .

x800pro is 12 pipes, 6 vertex shaders......475mhz core/900mhz mem 256bit mem bus
x800GT is 8 pipes 6 verts 475Mhz/ 900-1000mhz, 256bit mem bus
x800XL is 16 pipes 6 verts 400mhz core/1000mhz mem, 256bit
x800XT is 16 pipes 6 verts 500Mhz core/1000-1100mhz mem 256bit

in performance order

X800GT, X800pro, X800XL, X800XT

basically

x800pro is mid to low end of high range, it cant really compete with the 6800GT, but is better than the 6800NU
x800gt is jus in the mid range and is a credible rival to the 6600gt
x800xl is med to high of high range, rivals the 6800gt
x800xt is still pretty much a high range part, rivals the 6800Ultra

x800pro is a good card, overclocks like stink too, but IMO the X800XL is a much better buy if your wanting an ATI card. the x800pro is slower than both the 6800GT and X800XL so you just have to guess where it is in the benchmarks

theres also a straight X800 with 12 pipes, 6 verts, about 400mhz core but only 700mhz memory

if the x800pro is for a very cheap price, considerably less than the x800xl, then go for it i guess, but definately if you can go for the x800xl
