I used to think that Taco's are just smaller burritos that are not rolled up,
but then I saw rolled up small tacos so there goes that theory.

taco's can be crunchy, burrito's can't. burrito's generally have rice and beans, taco's have cheese and veggie and maybe meat

are you for real? you have no idea how to tell the difference?

and basically a burrito makes you feel fuller. think "buuurrrrrrrrrrp-rito"

Step 1. Go to Taco Bell.
Step 2. Order 1 taco and 1 bean burrito and notice the differences between the two.
Step 3. Stop Posting.

burritos are usually made with a flour tortilla, whereas a taco (the ones from taquerias, not taco bell or something like that) is usually made from a soft corn tortilla.

You should be ashamed of yourself for referring anyone to taco bell

a Taco is usually a crunchy shell, ground beef, cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, etc. etc .etc. a Burrito is a soft flour tortilla, refried beans, cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, etc. etc. Got it? good, now go eat dinner. ;)

thats the problem, everybody uses the word usually. Yes a taco is USUALLY a crunchy shell, but it can also be a soft shell. So where can we exactly draw the line between a taco and a burrito.

I went to the one place where the taco and burrito are identical with the exception of size....which got me pondering.

Rubios, Baja Fresh, Chipotle, and countless other places puts Taco Hell to shame. There are many options for getting a taco or burrito, Taco Hell should never be one of them.

ummm coming from a place thats close to the border and knowing quiet a few REAL mexican restaurants a taco is made with a corn tortilla (soft or hard) and a burrito is made with a soft flour tortilla and it CAN be hardend (chimichanga)
Either can have any combination of meat, beans, and veggies so in other words a taco is corn and a burrito is wheat but both have the same sorts of filling :)
