What is the difference between 9700 pro &9700

This card would be mainly for gaming. Could I go w/9700 and save money and have same gaming performance.

9700 has 275MHz core & 270MHz (540MHz DDR) clock speeds.

9700 PRO has 325MHz core & 310MHz (620MHz DDR) clock speeds ,that`s the only difference.

There`re quite a few people overclocking thier 9700 to 9700 Pro speeds with no problems.It does depend on the individual card however.

No 9500Pro has 8 pipelines 9500 has only 4 pipes enabled.

Yes, it very much worth the extra money.

Yes go with the 9500 Pro,if you find that too expensive then the 9600 would be your next best bet which is cheaper then the 9500 Pro and almost as fast,infact it overclocks very well.

Thanks everyone, I went Pro Turned out it was only about $14 more than the cheapest 9500 I could find.
