LOL. Someone emailed me and called me a troll. That's funny! I never heard "Troll" used in the context it is here until I started posting here. I always thought a Troll was a member that had one-word posts, nothing meaningful to say, etc. That could be thought as "good" in the sense that when Anand goes to potential advertisers, he can say, "look we have xyzxyz number of hits per hour.....trolls add to that count.
But, I understand that "Trolling" is frowned upon...i.e. if you've nothing meaningful to say, keep your mouth shut. I usually try to help. I really like the AT forums. I can honestly say that 50% of what I now know about computing/OS's/Hardware, I learned here, and I think that is pretty cool. I see nothing wrong w/trying to pass on what I've learned. Kind of like returning the favor, no?
I like being here. I wouldn't die without it though. I sure would miss it a whole lot though!!
But anyway, I'm curious; what differentiates a Troll from a Prolific Poster?
BTW
I feel that "Prolific Poster" could be a new Member Class. Somewhere between Diamond and Elite, maybe?
