What is the default voltage for the new XP's

What's the default voltage for the new Athlon XP's, and do our current heatsinks fit?

good question...was wondering this myself. heard a few ppl w/ xp's say that the 1.4 core volt palomino's aren't out yet. perhaps the XP's still run at 1.75?

I don't expect we'll see 1.4v cores until they switch to the .13u process with Thoroughbred +

The Mobile Athlons and Durons run 1.4-1.5V... perhaps that's what some of the above were thinking of.

just got my 1600 XP yesterday... since i'm not sure what the default Vcore is. i set the BIOS VCore to "Auto" , reboot my sytem and checked the H/W monitor on the BIOS and it reads 1,55V....
is this reading true, or my mobo is giving me a false reading ??


btw:it's an A7V133..flashed to the 1006 from ASUS FTP site

Whts the PC said during POSTing...Athlon XP 1600+, AXP 1600 or some other writting....u know tht writting tht said Duron 800 Mhz...blah...blah then the memory check....
