So the main guy at abit left them and went to DFI? this the same guy that was the main man on the BH6 and BM6? they also took people from soyo i see. Did they assemble some sorta elite crew? How good is there stuff as a company? they better than abit now? im pondering high quality companies after my fallout with asus and abit recently.

Lots of questions Schadenfroh, you have to remember engineers are always moving/leaving between motherboard companies,99% of them you won`t read or know about,as to high quality components DFI components are pretty good IMHO and they don`t use those big nasty green capacitors(the well known ones that leaked on quite a few motherboards few years back),but any company can still have failures even with high quality components.

I won`t say they are better then Abit or Asus( since no brand is perfect) however I`ve no problem in putting them up there as equal on stablity etc, like all things it`s a personal thing.

I`ll say this,I`ve owned other brands including Abit and my current DFI is solid as any of the other brands I`ve owned, would I buy a DFI board again, sure would :)..

Well I heard rumor tell that it was a small falling out in difference of opinion. The main guy wanted to give us hardware enthusiats REAL motherboard with real control over everything in our system. Guess there was some political BS and he left to do just that on his own. Pure rumor and probably pure speculation bu it does seem that way and personally I think the DFI board plain rock.
