What is the connector type?

Hello,

Background:
My brother and I, was messing with my laptop, meaning we was trying to upgrade the processor to a c2d, but the bios DID NOT like it, so it wouldn't boot. In the process of taking it apart the second time the connector holder broke on the motherboard.

Problem :
Where can i find the common connector?
I want to say it is a Flat Flex touchpad wire connector, but have not found anything online. I do not want to BUY another motherboard to fix this issue, the only problem is the connector bar is broken that holds the cable/wire in.


Solution :
Maybe find a replacement connector ?
Maybe mod the connector ?

It's usually proprietary. The manufacturer would probably be the only one able to fix it. Check what the warranty status is.

Ught oh... Its not under warranty. Just ran up about 4 months ago...
