What is the cheapest source of portable power?

Ok, lets say I was running a stand outside with a computer/monitor/printer.

Other than a generator - do I have options?

Cheapest in what sense? Startup cost? Long term cost?

For short term an inverter running off a car is probably the easiest.

Comments on this as a solution? C'mon, I don't know nothing about this stuff.

That's 28AH, which means it can supply 1 amp for 28 hours I do believe. Find out the power consumption of your computer setup.

EDIT: I forgot there's a way to make your own generator if you can find an old lawnmower motor and washing machine motor. (electric motors and generators are the same thing, just depends on how you use them).
