Im not really sure what to call them but I have a new case that has a headphone and mic in the front bevel of the case. I would like to hook ti up to a sound card and there is no sound built-in to the motherboard. I was looking at newegg because you can get a picture of exactly what you are getting but I dont know what to look for? My case has a bunch on one pin connectors so you can configure it however you want (nice feature IMO, universal compatability) but I need a sound card that will be able to provide the front headphone jack with sound for those late night gaming sessions.

If I understand you correctly, I think you're talking about a front panel header. Generally, those will only be found on motherboards that have integrated sound controllers. I haven't seen a recent add-in sound card that actually had one of those.

Well, I know most motherboards have them but I find it hard to believe that all the sound cards in existance today dont have the pins as well. Theres alot of cases these days that have the front outputs.

Creative's cards, Live! 5.1 and related have connectors for their Live Drive 5.25" bay things. The Santa Cruz also has a connector on it, but I don't know where to get whatever it is that connects to it.
