What is the cheapest "good" video card that supports flat panel displays?

I'm building a kit that will have a Microsharp 15.1 Flat panel display. What video card will work? Does it have to have DVI? (...or whatever its called?

as far as I know, the Matrox G450 supports flat panel display with great 2D quality!

My Voodoo3 3000 works just FINNNNNNE at 1024x768 @ 16bit on my Compaq TFT8000 LCD (18.1" screen)
