I just got my San Diego 3700 today and noticed that the model number was on there and a second number was under that. This is what I got:

ADA3700DAA5BN
CABGE 0517UPAW

I know the first number is the CPU model number, but what is the second?

the CABGE is the manufacturing code. I am not sure what the real name for it is. Maybe Batch code? It is the same on all chips manufactured in the same batch. For that chip i think there is CABGE and CABHE

CABGE is not really stepping, i dont think. Its what we call stepping, but stepping is what CPU-z shows as stepping. Like on Pentiums it will show D0 or something. On my venice it shows 0.

Edit:
NO i am wrong it is the stepping. I am stupid.:)
