What is the blinking line called??

And how do you change it? My 2 year old was playing with the keyboard, and now the thin blinking line is a huge blinking black box!!

Troubleshooting is not a HIGHLY TECHNICAL issue.

Its called a cursor.
it changes from a line to a block depending on what your current insertion method is.
I forget which is which, theres insert text or overwrite text, toggle this by hitting the insert key right above the delete key. but anyway, one is a square, the other is a flat line.

Tried the 'insert' key....didn't work Anything else I could try??
