What is the best way VHS-->DVD ?

I have some sort of ATI TV Tuner with a Philips tuner in it and have a GeForce 4 Ti4200 with some sort of "media bar" that has all sorts of memory card readers.....audio out,mic in,audio in,composite in,svideo in. My TV is all the way across the room so running it through that wont work. Im not working with much here.

What software should I use?

I don't want to reduce the quality of audio or video either.

Longshot...but any suggestions?
