Okay here is my situation:

I run a counterstrike clan and we all just agreed to pitch in a certain amount each month to rent a server for our clan.

The problem is that one of the members is a 16 year old from Quebec and he doesn't use american dollars. Would paypal or something like that be good?

Any suggesttions will help

gracias

If he doesn't have a US dollar account at a bank, best would be by canadian postal money order in US funds or US dollar bank draft from the bank. There are fees for both these services but fairly nominal.

Paypal requires a credit card and the fees are a bit high for a recurring monthly cost.

Tell him to go to a bank, get real money, & mail it to you in an envelope.

Probably be more hassle and cost more to get the money from him... why doesn't everyone else just put in another $1? Save a lot of frustration.

Postal money order in US funds. To save some hassle just get him to pay in 4 month increments or something.

I'd imagine the transferred money would be converted if so.

I've had someone in Canada paypal me before, the money came through in USD so I would assume there's some sort of conversion option on the other side.

If he's 16 he can still get a checking account and tie a paypal to that, having a paypal account is useful for a lot of things anyway.

Sending cash through the mail is generally a bad idea, money order is next best option.
