I'm thinking about switching from DSL to Cable modem and was wanting to know the best way to track my data transfers for a month? The cable has a 5gig a month limit, so I'm interested in how much I download a month.

Thanks

Stop using that ICS junk and use something like Sygate. it at least gives you some control over the routing.

Why do so many people hate ICS for a home network? I like it better then Sygate or Wingate or any Proxy software I tried. Of course I like Linux the best, but for a Windows solution ICS works great. 2K server has all the control you would need.

Routing and Remote Access Service. When used on a multi-homed system, it can be set up to do routing, forwarding, translation...all that cool stuff. It takes a bit of fiddling to set up, but it works great.
