What is the best way to prepare for taking the ACT test?

What software / online stuff did you guys used if you took the ACT? I have taken it once but want to improve my score. What is there online to use? Or other things i could get? Thanks..

I honestly didn't do much practice. Two nights before the test I used the practice thing in the book just to get a feel for how much time you get for each question.

The second time I took it this past June I didn't study whatsoever, instead I went to Cedar Pointe the day before the test and got home at 2 in the morning (and somehow managed to do 2 points better than when I took it in April).

There's not much you can do to "cram study" for most of the ACT. Work on grammar for the Eng section if you suck at it. Take a practice test, and make sure you've got the timing down on the science and the reading. Do the reading section in the order you prefer. I do the science passage, then social science, and last passages 1 and 3.

I studied really hard for the SAT and only got a 1380 (when I got a 1410 on the PSAT). For the ACT, I took 2 practice tests (spaced very far apart) and just went in. Got a 32, 99th percentile. So take a test or too and relax.

32? Me too!!!!

What were your subject scores?

I got a 32 twice and finally managed a 34 the 3rd time! :Q On each of the 32's I knew I messed up pretty big on some stuff. I actually ran out of time on reading the 1st time I took the test, while I somehow bombed Science the 2nd time.
