What is the best way to periodically synchronize BOOKMARKS/FAVORITES between various browsers on different PCs?

I got off to the wrong foot (years ago) when I started with Netscape at home and bookmarked dozens and dozens of sites. Then at work I use Internet Explorer and saved a bunch of Favorites there. Then at home I added Internet Explorer and started putting new favorites on that browser (I also have a ton of bookmarks on Netscape at work too).

Throw some Firefox into the mix and I have so many redundant bookmarks/favorites that I need to eliminate the redundant sites and create one 'good' list.

Is there any automated way to 'synchronize' the bookmarks on all of these machines and browsers while avoiding duplication?

I hope I don't have to type all of the links on all of the browsers myself so they match up!

I've wondered if there was some way to handle it, myself. I hope someone has an answer for both of us!

Firefox has an extension that allows you to upload your FF bookmarks and sync between different setups. I don't know how you'd incorporate it into Opera or IE, though.

Keep your bookmarks on google. On my google toolbar there is a place for me to post bookmarks by folder/tag. Any computer that has this toolbar can use these bookmarks. Plus if I am someplace without the toolbar I can get to them via my google account.

From their FAQ:
Which browsers does this extension work with?

This extension works with Firefox version 1.5 and later. Currently, it doesn't work in the Mozilla Suite, Internet Explorer, or Opera. Google Browser Sync is compatible with all operating systems supported by Firefox 1.5.
