I personally love watching the 1951 version with Alastair Sims.

The cartoon version from 1971 is pretty good too.

The worst are the musical versions.

Bill Murry's Scrooged is actually pretty funny and entertaining.
My fave is George C Scotts.
The musical versions suck. That story is way too dark and intense for spontaneous singing.

George C Scott, Patrick Stewart, and the Alastair Sims versions are all favorites of mine. And an honorable mention goes to the one that introduced me to A Christmas Carol: "Mr Magoo's A Christmas Carol".
