I've been loyal to ATI for years now. I used to have they're standard AIW Radeon until I saw their new product line and upgraded to the AIW radeon 8500 DV card, which I love. Unfortunately, i'm running on obsolete hardware again...I've heard great things about the AIW 9800

Do a search for the Leadtek Winfast Expert for some quality feedback. I've installed and sold dozens of them, and they are quite a bargain.

Hauppauge winPVR-350

I have a ATI Wonder VE (just a tv capture card, not the actual All-in-Wonder), and a PVR-250. The PVR-250 rocks the house.

It's a MPEG encoder (and the 350 has decoder) that can do some crazy stuff.

Perfect for adding TiVo-like capabilities to any computer.

Encoding a 720x520 mpeg2 data stream at 8Mbp/3 uses up less then 10% of my computer's CPU.

i'd say the best bang for your buck is the leadtek winfast deluexe which can usually be had from newegg for ~42$. i've been using this for a while, and have been recommending it to friends that want a tv tuner. Besides a tv tuner, u have a FM radio, and the ability to record tv or radio using the so-so leadtek software. Overall, good quality, for a good price.
