What is the best [spyware-free] Bittorrent Client?

bitcomet for me.... azureus uses java and i hate java and JRE (want to keep it running as little as possible).

JRE is worse than even real IMO.

I got Azureus and it set up port forwarding for me, and it works on my computer.

The only problem with BitTorrent in general is that it makes browsing SO damn slow becuase of the upload speed. The least you can set your Upload speed is 8.5kbps in Azureus. Kind of annoying.

This page took 15-20 seconds to load. It's uploading at 8.4 and downloading at 40. I have 768kbps.

I do agree on the fact that Azureus uses waay too much memory (becuase of Java) and lags out this old machine.

I guess I gotta say Azureus is great for fast PCs and really fast connections.

But I don't really care, I'll leave my downloads runing at night.

select more than one file at a time and THEN try setting the upload ;)

ABC > azureus

i always only had problems with azureus and HORRIBLE d/l speeds.....never any probs with ABC.

There is now a new version of ABC which also allows selective downlaods etc.... ABC > * :)
