What is the best ram?

the reason no one is answering your questions is because you're posting TOO MANY at once. you're wasting space. if a bunch of posts are put up, then people are just going to ignore you, because you're seen as an annoying person who makes a lot of noise. if you want help, combine your questions into one or two posts.

Member VS Member... Should make for a good match. 😀

GM, first of all make sure your post makes sense? What is RV SD PC?

Are you looking to purchase some RAM, or just want to know? The best RAM currently in production right now (but can't be used 🙁) is Crucial PC2100 DDR SDRAM. It can't be used because there aren't any motherboards out on the market that support DDR SDRAM. Nonetheless, it will become the wave of the future (ahem).

Mushkin Revision 2 PC133 CAS2 would be the best SDRAM out there right now.

A Third vote for Mushkin HP Rev2. NOT THAT HSDRAM JUNK!!! (the HSDRAM doesn't go as high and has 232 timings instead of 222)

If you don't have a KT7 board, and don't intend to go out of spec, crucial is good also.

I like Crucial RAM, it is very good, works with an Atlhon, can run on CAS 2, stable, what else do you need? Not that sure what FSB it can go to though

But Infineon, while they make the semiconductor chips, don't sell directly to end-users. They sell to Mushkin, etc., who in turn sell it to us.

But yes, Infineon and Micron Semiconductor chips are good.

I have had some stability problems on my K7 Pro and Crucial RAM that works perfectly under a BX setup...

...buyer beware.
