Portillos is a great place.

I don't know...I heard that gangsters own that place...

They send one of yours to the hospital, you send one of theirs to the morgue.
Thats the Chicago way!

Super Dawg or Tasty Pup.

That's all you need to know. Portillo's is garbage. It's the McDonalds of Chicago hot dogs.

QFT

Although, I'm not too fond of Super Dawg myself. I'd rate it slightly above average, but not the best as far as Chicago dawgs go. I'm partial to Gene and Jude's. Weiner circle is good as well.

Oh, and by the way, NO KETCHUP EVAR!!

And no Catsup either😉

check pbs, they have a hotdog, they actually tell you why the dog is the best and also go to pbs and check please, they review chicago restaurants.

Gene and Judes. They win hands down.

edited for spelling

confirmed. do you still need to bring your own ketchup?

Yes you do. Real dogs don't have ketchup on them 🙂. I love their hot dogs so much there. I love how they put the fries all around the dog.
