What is the best performance/price monitor right now?

sup peoples,
right now i am trying to find a good monitor right now. I am building a phat system and i want the best for my computer, but at a reasonable price. I was thinking about getting the Samsung 955DF for $267 plus $40 shipping. I was also thinking about getting a Hyundai monitor which is good. It is a 19 inch, .22 mm, flat screen, for $235. I prefer a 19 in, so what do you guys think i should get. The Samsung is a flat screen too with a .20 mm. Are there are others around the $300 price range? Thanks🙂

That samsung seems to be 'peoples' preference, they do look very attractive. Check the hot deals forum, I think there's a deal for $255 with free shipping on a 955df.

Search these forums and you'll find that the Samsung 955DF and the Samsung 900NF probably belong to the most recommended monitors around here. I'd say, if you are really on a tight budget, get the former but if you want to have higher refresh rates and a Diamondtron aperture grille screen, then get the latter. Cheers!

where can i find the coupon that i can get $25 off. I went the techbargains, but i can't find it. But you guys were right in that necxdirect is selling the samsung 955DF for $309 shipping included, but if i can find that coupon it will drop the price to $284. help me find that coupon. thanks 🙂

Samsung and KDS make really high performance/price ratio monitors.

I've got a Samsung 900NF and I love it. For the best price/performance ratio I'd probably go with the 955DF. The only difference is that the refresh rates are lower at extreme resolutions (anything over 1280x1024).

THe 900nf is the best IMO along with the sony for 19".
