The Morpheous sudden change of program has somewhat changed the entire Peer 2 Peer landscape, so put your thoughts which P2P software do you think its the best rite now?

Also, what is the best pvp software for getting videos?

PvP? so instead of sharing files ala P2P(Peer 2 Peer) this a new type of software, where you face your opponent online and the victor gets to choose any file from their opponents......right... ? ;)

Just messin with ya :p

I've used Kazaa (without spyware), for me it sucked (especially the colour!) Grokster is pretty good so far from what I've used.

eDonkey. The best thing about it is that the files are reviewed and eDonkey links posted on the net.

I haven't found a P2P client that can compare to leeching off of FTP's and IRC. It's such a pain to get a full album off of Kazaa, and I can't find too many super rare Black Metal CDs or high-quality movies on them. Direct Connect is kinda cool, but I only have a 30 gig drive and can't keep up with some of the file limits imposed by many of the better servers.

I just use Kazaa lite now. It works great for me, I don't look for obscure files or entire albums too often and the number of users on kazaa is great. The lite version is spyware free and being just like the old morpheus works for me.
