Offhand these are the ones I have played -

Ultima III, IV
Wizardry 1
Legends of Faergal
Bards Tale I and II
Baldur's Gate I and II
the whole D&D "gold box" series by SSI
Torment
Fallout I and II
Diablo I and II
Dungeon Siege
Morrowind
Icewind Dale II
Final Fantasy 7
Knights of the Old Republic I
Neverwinter Nights

Guild Wars is on it's way... what have I missed out on, besides a life?

I had a really hard time getting into KOTOR I, so I didn't go for KOTOR II. I played KOTOR I for about 10 hours and then gave up. Most of the others I finished.

You've pretty much named everything I can think of. From what I've heard, Guild Wars should tide you over until Oblivion comes out.

Ultima VII: The Black Gate & Serpent's Isle. Deus Ex was a good hybrid genre title. If you're willing to delve into console emulation, SNES FF3, Secret of Mana, and Chrono Trigger might be interesting

Actually I really didn't love NWN. It was extremely linear - and I find linear to be very droll after playing Morrowind. Not sure I can go back again.

Yes, definitely! This is a good non-linear game that Sierra released to public domain a few years back. Replayability isn't as strong as others, but it's great at least the first time around.

An old favorite of mine is Dungeon Master II. Completely non-linear and great replay value. You'll need dosbox to play it.

Aah yes, I had heard good things about B@K...always meant to play it. Thanks for the idea. OF course I just ordered the new Bard's Tale today so my hands will be full for a while.

You coun't Diablo 1&2 and Dungeon Siege as RPGs? There are more actions games than RPGs. I don't think is actually any RP at all in D 1&2.

Yeah, it's hard to deny that Morrowind is the best RPG ever. It might even be worth playing it again before even moving on to other games since the first time I played it for 9 months and only covered about 60% of the game...and map.

Are there any new morrowind games being developed atm? I tried morrowind but the graphics were just too ass for me to spend much time with it (I bought it shortly after finishing farcry, it felt like stepping back into quake1 or something).

Yup. There is. Dont ask me what the name is but search Elder Scrolls on the board and you'll probably find it.

Diablo2 is the best RPG Ive played on the PC apart from ADoM which is an ASCII, hethack style RPG.

Best RPG on a console is the only console game Ive played with any passion.... Final Fantasy 7.
