I am undertaking a project for a non profit organization and I am in search of an online community which offers facilities a bulletin board, dispertion of newsletters etc. Egroups is functional but I would rather opt for an alternative which is a little more professional and customizable. Initially I thought of purchasing webspace and domain and setting up a bulletin board using php bb or an equivalent but now I am a hesitant as I have no knowledge of SQL and PHP. It is for a noble cause and I would appreciate a few suggestions. Thanks.
