there are quite a few options

but I do not want to do clerical work, nor work in food service

How about tutoring in Economics or working in a computer lab?
working in a library?
Please chime in with your past experiences

Work in a library, from what my friends tell me it is almost no work and you get a very quiet place to study. Get paid to basically study.

Libraries tend to make you do stuff - checking books in/out or putting them away. I've done tutoring... you actually have to pay attention the whole time and the people are usually clueless over the subject matter.

A computer lab monitor on the other hand... the only reason they are there is in case something happens, which is pretty much never. At most you'll have to refill the printer a couple times.

Depends on what you wanna do after graduation. Working in a lab looks good for graduate research / medical school. But if that doesn't matter to you then working in a library or being a computer lab monitor is quite cushy.

It does matter to me. I want a work study position related to what I'm studying

My minor is in comp. sci but my majors are in Mathematics and Finance

If it provides social interaction and opportunity to meet other students, that's a plus too

Tutoring in Economics is what I'm thinking of so far... Macro or Micro Econ or both

pfft...i work at the helpdesk at school, and it is a very easy job. Almost never busy, answer 1 or 2 calls an hour and answer emails. $9/hr, not bad 😛
