Seen many posts about this is a oc'ers dream machine. (non-sli and i believe a 939 chip series) In one topic someone stated not to use a asus board, because they don't like to be overclocked....
I looked and want to teach my 2 sons (along with myself) how to design, purchase, buy parts, prep rig, plug in, turn on... set-up, cross fingers as you turn system on..... all the way to oc'ing the various systems.
I am gonna buy a rig with all the bells and whistles but i can spend another 1-2k to build a father/son computer.
(its important that my kids learn how to read and ask questions and to actually have hands on with the technical side of computers, heck they play enough on it, the least they should do is learn how it works!!)
anyway, my youngest (16) asked if he could help build my new computer.... *eyes watering*... makes me glad.
i apologize if its somewhere in here and i was unable to locate it... i thank you.
