Mushkin Redline 4000
OCZ EL Plat 4800

you want tight timings or loose timings?

what size, 2 x 512, 2 x 1 gig?

i'm with 11427

tight: redline 4000 or ocz vx gold
loose: ocz plat 4800, mush black 4400, corsair 4400, gskill le 4400, etc.... (anything using tccd)

I want tight timmings to overclock past 260 fsb 1:1
I have an fx55 that with lower fsb and high multiplier I can take it to 2.85ghz.
but I've seen that I get better fps when i run my memory @ higher freq.
I want at least 260 1:1 and my memory wont do it (look at my sig for specs)
also want to use 1 gig 512x2 as I have now, unless you can advise me on going with 2x 1gig sticks. I read that for oc is better 2x512 sticks.

Please advise

Thanks

well my Patriot PC4800 runs 2.5,4,4,8. That 300 at 1:1, right, as it is DDR600 ? (I don;t have it that high) It's $183 at newegg for 2x512, and it works great on my 3800 @255 !

Hmmm,... how tight? Not much out there that will guarantee 260 at 2-2-2-6. You might be able to get some Redline or Gold VX up there,...maybe.
I'd suggest Mushkin Black (XP4400) on my DFI NF4 it will easily do 2.5-3-3-6 1T at 275, that's assuming you can live with CAS 2.5

Geil One BH if you want frequency and timings.

Geil One TCCD if you want frequency.

You need to get the single-sided 256 MB modules.
