What is the best nforce 2 board

I really like what I have read about the epox 8RDA+, but soon there will be the 8RDA3+.. and it seem for the future that having the 400fsb is a good deal.

All three of the boards listed are shipping with the A1/C1 chipset and will do 400fsb no problemo, and the FRN2 is actually shipping as Ultra400 now, not sure about the other 2.

The Asus a7n8x deluxe is trouble-free so far for me. I can't make it go past 178fsb in dual channel, though. Each of my ddr3200 sticks will do 215mhz on their own and together--in single channel mode. These are 512mb each so ymmv with 256mb sticks. Soundstorm kicks Audigy 1's ass too!!!!

The ver. 2 boards have ultra400 support.

Ditto.

You guys have gotta be kidding me... I haven't seen one of those hold a candle to the ASUS in the reviews I've read, Anandtech included.

I have an asus deluxe. I'm not into overclocking... I just want to have a reliable system. After lots of grief with on board sound, I got that resolved (thanks mechBgon) and it was just a few jumpers that were unset when I connected front case connectors to the MB.

A friend of mine has recommended the 8RDA+ strongly. My next box will probably be one (gotta upgrade a gaming rig) but I might opt for an 8RDA3+ instead.

Has Anandtech even reviewed the Soltek board? I am pretty sure they haven't. Ok I am going to say something here that may shock some of you. Brace yourself SynthesisI. Just because I t doesn't get the top Kudos from Anandtech doesn't necessarily mean it isn the best or one of the best. Gasp! It really Depends on what an individual is looking for in a motherboard. Believe it or not often what is reviewed isn't necessarily representative of the actual retail product either. Manufacturers are famous for seeding review sites with specially selected hardware for review. double gasp!! do you get it yet?
