In terms of features. I don't care about the size (as long as it's not a brick), even the Neuros which was mentioned in the hot deals thread isn't too big for my tastes. Right now I'm leaning towards getting the Creative Zen. The other two players that I'm considering are the RDA Lyra and the Neuros. Anything set any of these apart (especially things like sound quality and updated firmware, etc...). Anyway, thanks for the help.

Also, what kind of warranties come with these players? I've been having some trouble finding warranty info on them.

The Ipod has a great feature set, huge storage size, and very small in physical size.

Notice where I said I didn't really care about the size. Also, I wanted to know what the features of the different player are.... not that they had a good feature set.

Wow, gotta love when you try and offer a suggestion to someone and they come back with a smart@ss remark....I suggest Ipod, you actually do some research, but since you are looking at it in the baby needs his bottle kind of light, here is a fresh new Link to Apple's website where you can actually do "Research" on the player. Since it has the features of a PDA, calendar, Address Book, Games, etc., and also has a great user interface, Graphic Equalizer, Equalizer Presets, etc. The great thing about the Ipod is that it carries a lot of data but also in a pretty small, light size that makes it great to carry around, do light jogging, or workout with. The Ipod also features USB 2.0 and a Firewire link for fast music transfers. The battery life is good, and the included cradle make it very convenient to have it on your desk, fully charged, with all your music, and be ready to go. The other players you mentioned will have limited feature sets due to their small size, if that is what you are looking for though, the Zen is supposed to have very good sound quality and a high SNR (98db I believe).

You may also want to check out Cnet for reviews on the MP3 plaeyers, they have all of the ones you mentioned reviewed plus the Ipod. Hope all of this was "detailed" enough for you...

Those player that I mentioned are bigger than the iPod both in capacity and in dimension so I have no idea what you're talking about here. Also, the only features that the iPod has that any of them don't is the PDA crap, so that's not a reason I'd pay $100 more for a smaller player. Also, the RCA and the Neuros have features that the iPod lacks like the FM tuner and transmitter.

the dell digital jukebox is pretty nice. doesnt have an fm tuner though. you get a lot more storage for the price than you would from an ipod. has voice recording and a decent interface, aluminum case so it is sturdy. it is nice, worth checking out. sound quality is superior to the ipod (not with the included ear buds though, they suck)

In all reality you were very unclear about your needs and very rude in your approach to people trying to help you. Why ask someone to give suggestions if you are going to basically condemn every idea they give you. You never mentioned that you needed or wanted an FM tuner. I also have no idea what you are talking as far as size goes, none of the players you mentioned have 40GBs worth of capacity, and since both the RCA Lyra and Neuros come in different sizes(HD style and Flash Memory), which you never specified, they may or may not be dimensionally larger than the Ipod. But in any case, good luck finding an MP3 player, I suggest you actually do some research on the Cnet link I gave you, they have all the information you are looking for, and then maybe you can decide for yourself opposed to asking people here and then making impolite comments when they try to offer suggestions.
