What is the best motherboard?

- ASUS A8N SLI Deluxe (SLI and socket 939)
- MSI K8N Diamond 54G (SLI and socket 939)
- MSI Neo4 Platinum Nfoce4 Ultra (socket 939)

Depending on what you need:
-If you ever consider of buying two Graphics Cards to use them in SLI mode go for the ASUS or the MSI (I personally prefer the ASUS)
-If you just want PCI express go for the Neo4 or the ASUS A8V-E.

Well, but i can see a problem (or no?). If you read the specifications of the motherboard of ASUS, it has this slots:

2x pciexpressx16
2x pciexpressx1
3x pci 32 bits

But if you see the image:

is there space enought for the pci expressx1 when you put the graphics card/s?.

then we have the MSI K8N Diamond 54G and it has:

2x pciexpressx16
2x pciexpressx1 (share by pciexpressx16, unless you don´t use the SLI mode)
3x pci 32 bits

My question is: Does the same problem exist in both motherboards?

Best motherboard? Probably the Asus P3B-F. Although many love the Abit BP6.

Halfadder...I always found the Asus CUSL2-C near and dear to my heart...but snaps to the P3B-F.

For new boards, whichever one fits your needs is the best for you. At this point in the game, most of these boards are so tweaked for performance that I doubt anyone could tell the difference. I don't get the whole SLI thing...just don't see the need for that much heat in my case, so I would tend to lean towards the MSI Neo 4.
