What is the best motherboard for a mobile 2500?

DFI Lanparty Ultra Infinity B, Abit NF7-S, Asus A7N8X-E Deluxe

To the best of my knowledge all of those boards are NForce 2 Ultra 400s and are good oc'ers. I haven't used the DFI but have heard it can get crazy OCs right out of the box... the ASUS is a little hard to navigate in the BIOS but if you drop in a modded bios you should be fine. The NF7-s is the undisputed King. Affordable, reliable OCer, and very stable. For a few bucks more you can get teh AN7 which has more voltage options and more onboard goodies but that about exhausts it. The DFI is usually around $120 or so, the Asus is around $100 as is the AN7, but the NF7-S is only around $75-80 so bang for the buck it is the NF7.

Which Heatsink do you intend to use... additionally what RAM and PSU?

If you like RMA's, I'd get the DFI Lanparty/Infinity Ultra B. It's good at getting crazy high fsbs, it comes with nice stuff, and it's got the best voltage controls. Of course, only one in two or three actually works.

Otherwise, I'd get the AN7. It's good at (not so crazy) high fsbs, doesn't come with nice stuff, and it's got just as good controls for voltage. They all work, though.

Abit nf7-s for pure speed.

DFI Infinity/lanparty for high fsb.

In the end abit > dfi because dfi bios support sucks big time.

I refuse to buy another DFI board because of 2 bad boards due to flashes.
