I'd like some opinions on what is the best monitor I can get for around $300 at Fry's. I got some gift cards to there recently for my b-day, so it's time to upgrade the display. I have been looking at this Samsung and Viewsonic, but if someone can reccomend something else please do. I'll be playing a lot of CS on this so I can't tolerate major ghosting. I've read that there is some panel lottery going on with the Samsung's, so I'm a little weary of it right now.

The only non TN panels that Fry's has as far as I know is the LG L206WTQ, and I've read on here to stay away from the WTQ. So confusing!

Yeah, I know that you have the Fry's giftcards, but maybe you could sell them in the For Sale forum? Then use the $$ you get from them to buy from a different site with better options.

Newegg has the Acer AL2051W for 239.99 + shipping right now. It's a P-MVA true 8-bit panel. I just got mine this weekend and I'm typing on it now. Sure is purrrrty. ;)

I am a relative newb to flat panels, but I see no ghosting on this panel when I play games such as FarCry, CS:S, Hit Man: Blood Money, BF2, Oblivion, etc.
