What is the best memory out there now?

Best memory?do you mean speed, price, stability anyway Crucial is pretty cheap nowadays & is a good all rounder.

🙂

rambus is the technology leader in the current memory..... what the hell did i say that for... must be the lawyers and BS... anyway, mushkin has rev3 if you haven't noticed. the best memory out there is the cheapest ram that will fit your needs. they rarely go bad.

Actualy Noxipoo Rambus RDRAM has some pretty good technologies behind it, but the company (Rambus Inc) and they lawyers suck mega goat nads...

I'd go with Crucial (Micron), it's nice and cheap.
I got 256MB of -75 Micron chips (2-2-2 @ 100Mhz or 3-3-3 @ 133MHz) for less than $1 candian/meg. That's like 60cents US/meg. The -7E stuff (2-2-2 @ 133Mhz) is about $1.15 or 1.20, so that's about 80cent US

The VC133 stuff is pretty cool for Via chipsets, but hard to find, if you can find it, and you have a Via chipset you might want to consider it though.

the compatability for vc133 ram are pretty short, I will be running a MSI K7t Pro 2 A (why are the names so long?) which is a via chipset, but it hasnt been tested so i am hesitant about buying any, any ideas or help?
