What is the best MB for gaming?

I am ready to build a nwe system for gameing and need help in choosing a MB.
What u think?
If any new MBs will be out soon, Ill be willing to wait.

Well the nForce2 board should be out soon, BUT there was a lot of hype about the nForce1 and it was a little bit of a let down and cost a lot.
There should be some newwer KT400 boards soon.

But if you had to have one now I would look at the Epox KT333 with the 8235 southbridge.

Instead of starting a new thread I did a search for gaming and this is the only one that came up.

I am trying to decide between a P4 system with the P4PE a 2.4b or 2.53b or AMD with an Epox Kt333 MB unsure of which processor and 256mb+ of ram. Would one be better than the other?

Using WinXP, and games like Unreal Tournament also some CAD work planned.

Well the Epox with the KT400 is out. Newegg has it for $125 shipped. Comes with all the bells and whistles.

Thank you Marlin 1975 for your input. If I go with an AMD solution Epox was my MB of choice.

Leaning towards ASUS for the P4 solution. Still unsure which would be better or if they are similar except for price.
