What is the best Linux compatible PCI wireless adapter I can buy? I've been meaning to use Linux, but my Netgear WPN311 doesn't support it. If you guys can list out some of the best ones, I'd really appreciate it. Thanks.

You can use the MadWifi driver with that card, since it has an atheros chipset.

MadWifi

What distro are you thinking of using btw?....

Also if you want to use WPA you will need WPA_Supplicant

Atheros uses a binary blob, it's ick.

I use a couple of these and they've worked great under a couple of OSes. It's RALink based, and they seem to be the smartest company of the bunch at the moment.
