What is the best Learning Japanese software?

hmm, i tried Japanese (Auto-select), Japanese (Shift-JIS), and Japanese (EUC) encoding (in IE6 SP1) and it still comes out as garbage to me

heh, try the pimsluer language cds.
those things drill the basics into you, or so i heard.

oh, and hentai = weird/abnormal, but has the slangish meaning of pervert these days.

since im in the country right now, and could be for some time, im in the perfect opportunity to learn, however I do not have time to fit evening night courses into my schedule just yet. There for some sort of software solution would be kick ass, if it was somewhat decent.
