www.google.com

But then again, that's just for an weekend graphic person like me. I have had a time when I couldn't find the tutorial I needed online. Sometimes, its even better because there are multiple ways to do the same thing. Good luck!

What do you want to do? Graphic design? Web Design? Photo editing? What do you want the book to teach you?

Pretty much any basic, all-in-one type book is ok for that, then. Don't pick up any of the overly specialized books or you won't learn the full range of the program.

personally i like the bible series of books. i find them to cover the basic but will also cover more advanced features as your comfort level with the program evolves.
