I heard one of there songs, "diamonds and rust" and i liked it very much. What album of thiers is best to start off with?
 
british steel is probably the earliest big album

point of entry is the first i listened to (when i first switched from kid music to rock n roll)

just get Judas Priest - Priest... Live [1987]
and you'll get the best of the early stuff

LOL no kidding, Geoff Tate from Queensryche dresses the same way and everybody was so shocked.
