57? wow! Mines gets to like 51 under a full load and I thought that was high, its a AMD 1333. I have a globalwin fop38, its really loud though I was thinking about getting some acoustical foam for the case

AnAndTech has done a review of quite a few heatsinks. Check it out here. Tom's Hardware Guide did an extensive review on many CPU coolers in May. Here is the link. I personally like the Swiftech line of CPU coolers as they are regarded as one of the top on the market right now. If you wish to spend around $40, the Swiftech MC370-0A is usually around that price. If you really want to go all out, the Swiftech MC462 seems to be leading the pack these days. It is a mere $80 most places, but it really does the job. You should be able to knock your temp down to the lower 40C or so. The Swiftech line can be a bit pricey, but they are worth it IMHO. There is a knock-off brand of the MC370 that is pretty much the same cooler out there. Search the forum and you should find some more info. As for resellers that have decent prices on CPU coolers, check these out:

Sidewinder Computers
Plycon - NOTE: they do not sell the Swiftech line, but offer a great product line
Inflow Direct
Crazy PC

All 4 are great resellers to do business with and are highly ranked on resellerratings.com. Good Luck! :D

Here is list from Dan's Data of more than 50 with a short writeup on each. I went with the OCZ Gladiator. For $30-40 price range, it seems to be the best. I just couldn't justify the cost of the Swiftech for >minimal<, if any, improvement.
