Not the fop38, provides excellent cooling but it is way too loud, I can hear its high pitched whine above 3 80mm case fans

but tis still the best cooling wise, if you can live with a jet engine sound.

TaiSol is the best in my opinion (I've owned both TaiSol and Alpha 6035 w/YS Tech).

Hit my signature to get the Taisol Cek 933092 for $13 shipped. Rated beyond to 1.1 Ghz.

Is this for overclocking, or are you leaving it at the default? Because if you're not planning to O/C, there stock HSF should work fine, since that's what they're selling it with.

I got my 1Ghz T-bird to 1150 using the TaiSol. I left the thermal pad on and it's 100% stable and running cool.

dreamachines,
Don't use the chrome orbs for your 1Ghz.
Even if you are not overstocking. I know you going to overclock.
It will also be a tight fit on your mobo.
It fit some people, other have to file it down.
I know there was a deal where you could get it for $8 shipped.
It's not worth it for your system.
