What is the best free photo printing software, with some minimal editing features?

I am sure the good people here have figured out the best free deal going.
I also need to tell you all, if you don't have the Canon i950 printer, go get it.
It is AMAZING! You really can not tell the print was done on a printer.

Yeah it comes with EZphoto, but it just prints.
It has absolutely no image/color/sharpness or even the mildest of photo manipulation features.
It ONLY allows you to choose pictures and the number of times you want it printed.

Dumb question, but did your camera not come with any software?

I posted a link in the software forum for the same question and I think notfred had the name of some free software for editing.

PM me your email addy I might be able to send you something.
HP comes with a very nice, very easy and very thorough editing softwarer whcih also then lets you print to different sized papers (Such as all wallets, hlf wallets and "photo sized") etc.
Dunno if I can mail it, dunno if it'll fit in your box. But I can try 🙂
Just checked. Its 18 meg. Got FTP or Messenger or something?

Could use an evaluation version of Paint Shop Pro or somethin.

think Adobe has something as well that's either an eval/trial version or cheap/free.

And actually, check the freeware thread in the software forum. Bet you find some decent suggestions there.

I wouldn't call it the best, but Kodak EasyShare software very much fits the bill for what you're asking. It's very convenient for printing to Kodak photo papers.

A free download from kodak.com.

Drawbacks would include a sluggish UI, and installation of a shortcut in the Startup group (and a tray icon). I prefer running apps on demand.
