what is the best fan/heatsink for a celeron 566 ffpga on a slocket??

i have a celeron 566 on a slocket with the asus p3v4x motherboard.. i went to a computer show trying to by a golden orb but i was told that it is too heavy to support on the slocket and stuff.. where can i find the best fan/heatsink for my combo?? thanx in advance

Too heavy?

Not really...it's one of the smallest, lightest heatsink/fan combos to come around. And it doesn't block any DIMM slots in the process, either. :) Whoever told you that, told you wrong.

For the price it cools alright if it's for a FC-Celery.

If you intend to oc it, it will still do a decent job, granted not great as compared to an Alpha PEP66.

If you don't mind the twisting motion and heavy pressure applied onto the die itself, it's alright.

And don't worry about the "weight" of a heatsink fan combo. I've tried both Gorb and Alpha PEP66 (currently have the PEP66), and the PEP66 is heavier. If you have the mounting brackets and the slotket you should be fine.

I have celeron 566 with Gold. Orb too. but mine doesn't cool the cpu down??

can you tell me why?!
